Shipping and Handling
Scooters are delivered by courier at a cost to you of £5.95 for 4-5 working day delivery and an extra £1.45 for 1-2 working day delivery.
Deliveries to ROI and the Channel Isles are £10.50 and Northern Ireland is £5.95. Accessories ordered individually are sent by Royal Mail.
Delivery
We will send you an email informing you of the consignment number and showing you how to track the progress of your parcel. You will need to arrange for someone to be in to sign for the delivery. We will not deliver at weekends or on bank holidays. UK Mail's delivery times are between 8.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Please contact UK Mail 0845 149 2026 with your consignment number if you do not receive your delivery within two days of receiving your e-mail. If UK Mail tries to deliver and no one is there they will put a card through the door giving details of how to contact them to arrange a re-delivery. Failure to contact UK Mail to arrange a redelivery or collect goods from the business post collection point will lead to goods being returned to Micro Scooters which may result in extra postage being charged for redelivery.
Credit Card Security
We use a secure online payment gateway for all credit car processing called Sage. Sage has achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI). When the order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Cancellations
You have 7 days from the date of delivery to cancel your contract with us. You will be responsible for the cost of returning cancelled goods to us. More information about your rights to return goods under the EU distance selling directive can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/

Returns
If the item you received is damaged or incorrect please contact Sadie in our Customer Services team within 14 days, on 0845 258 7532 or email info@micro-scooters.co.uk quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product, the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. If the item you received is faulty, you have the right to return it within a reasonable period of time. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.
As you are returning an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us (please enclose a copy of your postage receipt when you return the item, or email it to us at info@micro-scooters.co.uk so that we know how much to refund you for your postage). You may return an unused item (in original retail packaging) for refund or replacement within 14 days of the order date. A £5.00 restocking fee may be subtracted from your refund. All shipping charges are non-refundable. Any items returned to us should include all parts, accessories, instructions and packaging.
The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. We cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. A credit or replacement will be issued once the package has been returned.
Warranty
The mini micro is supplied with a warranty of six months for material and workmanship faults. During this period of warranty it is up to Micro Mobility Systems GmbH to decide whether products covered by the warranty should be repaired or replaced. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper usage such as incorrect installations on the model, careless use such as running against curbstones, etc. Or normal wear and tear.We can only accept claims if you have a valid proof of purchase. If you make a claim under the warranty your dealer will decide whether the mini-micro will be repaired or replaced with a new model.
